SWIMMING WITH WILD DOLPHINS

Hello beauties! How are you?
Finally I got some time to tell you a little more about our holiday in Mauritius.
As I said, the first day we didn't anything special and we only investigated the hotel facilities. But the next day we started adding adventures.
One of my dreams since I was a child has been to swim with dolphins. But not with poor dolphins captive in pools of which I am totally against but wild and free dolphins.
After searching tour agencies online where we could do this activity, we decided to contract it with JPH Charters. We decided it because the departures were quite early (ideal for not finding lots of boats and people) and they have small boats of no more than 6 people (in addition to the guide and the driver). In our case we shared a boat with just one more couple.
As it was our first day on the island, we asked them to come and pick us up at the hotel, and they arrived there at 6:30. Considering that the jetty was quite close, we arrived pretty early at the bay. We had to pay 50% of the activity in advance and the rest when we returned to the port. I remember it was 2475MUR (about €60) per person (transportation included). They answered our doubts by email with incredible speed and kindness. This post is not sponsored, but if you're happy with something, you have to share it :)
After explaining how we organize it, I will tell you the best part: how we enjoy it.
Once at the jetty, we sailed about 10 minutes until we began to see the first dolphins. It is common to find bottle nose dolphins and spinner dolphins. We could swim with the second ones.
Don't you think that it is easy to swim with these animals, you have to swim very fast to be at their side for only a few seconds. They are faster haha.
It consists of jumping into the water when they are close to the boat and trying to follow them as quickly as possible. The water there is not very cold but it is true that you you can feel some freshness (it isn't the Caribbean sea). I will not deny that I was cold when I was on the boat but when I jumped into the water I completely forgot and enjoyed it very much. Dream fulfilled!
All the photos you see are taken from videos of the GoPro. In this type of situation it is better to record than to take photos because otherwise the decent material would be null.
Have you ever seen dolphins peeing or pooping? We don't know very well what they were doing but we saw (and almost ate it) live hahaha (see the last photo but one). We didn't appreciate it down there in the water but when we saw the video we laughed a lot.
After swimming with the dolphins our guide told us that there was a whale in the area and it sometimes came to the surface. So we sailed to where it was and we could see it a few times (although from a distance). In the last photo you can see a little how it poured water upwards. I'm sorry but it's the best picture we could take.
Have you ever swum with dolphins? Did you like it or would you like to do it?
I hope that you like the post as much as I enjoyed sharing it :)

¡Hola bonitos!
¿Habéis visto alguna vez a delfines haciendo pis o caca?
